"My Mommy Works""MY MOMMY WORKS"
While my Mommy works all through the day,
I come to Baldwin for learning and play.
I have made lots of friends and have plenty to do,
I am learning about animals and cows that can moo.
We are dancing and singing and learning to share,
With qualified people who know how to care.
We have tables and chairs and things just our size,
To help us feel big and important inside.
It helps my parents to know that I am happy and safe,
I am learning to play and grow at My pace.
I am eating my peas and taking my naps,
And reading good books on nice warm laps.
Not a day am I bored with so much to do,
With creative activities and games that are new.
My parents are told of how hard I play,
In a special report at the end of each day.
They are told of my ouches and how they are mended,
They are told of my progress and how we pretended.
Though my parents work, they do not love me less,
For they show me each day that I am the best.
